A LOOK INTO MY LIFE
MY STORY
Welcome to my world, where visual storytelling, music, and innovation in the cannabis industry intersect. My journey is a blend of passion, creativity, ambition, and a little bit of luck.
Early Beginnings: Education and Discovery Channel
My creative journey began at Full Sail University, where I earned an Associate of Science in Film. Before I even completed my degree, the Discovery Channel took notice of my work and brought me on board. For five years, I dove deep into post-production, sharpening my skills in visual storytelling and developing an eye for detail.
Pursuing the Dream: Music and Documentary Filmmaking
While I thrived at Discovery, my heart was set on music and filmmaking. I used every vacation to tour with bands, capturing their live performances on film before returning to my work at Discovery. In 2011, I took the leap and left to pursue my dream of documentary filmmaking. Joining the Vans Warped Tour was the start of a new chapter.
I spent three years working as the content creator for Attack Attack!, where I captured the band’s energy and developed a deep connection to the music scene. One of my proudest moments was organizing a guest performance by Dee Snider of Twisted Sister at the Bamboozle Music Festival, in front of a crowd of 20,000 fans. When Attack Attack! eventually broke up, I transitioned to working with other artists like Texas in July, Veil of Maya, Attila, Darkest Hour, and more.
I also had the privilege of collaborating with international artists like Paris Hilton, Raekwon, Ice T, Body Count, Korn, and others.
In 2015, Jason Richardson and I filmed a documentary about his journey into the solo music space. Our collaborations have since garnered millions of views online.
A New Frontier: Cannabis Industry and ismokeit.net
In 2014, I saw a growing shift in the cannabis industry and founded ismokeit.net. My vision was to create a platform for cannabis enthusiasts that could make a cultural impact, much like WorldStar HipHop did in its niche. The site quickly became a hub for the cannabis community, hosting landmark events in the Nation’s capital and evolving into an automated platform for seamless experiences.
The Haven: A Marketing Odyssey
In 2017, my path took a new direction when I was offered the role of Marketing Director for the Haven dispensary in Brandywine, Maryland. Drawing from my experiences in film, music, and the cannabis world, I developed innovative marketing strategies that helped grow the brand and strengthen its connection with the community.
The Front Porch Series: A New Chapter in Live Performances
From the post-production suites at Discovery to the stages of music festivals and now at the forefront of the cannabis industry, my journey has been anything but typical. It’s a story of pursuing dreams, embracing change, and continually pushing boundaries.
In recent years, I became part of the team that founded Noochie’s Live from The Front Porch concert series. This live series has grown into a cultural sensation, drawing in artists and audiences alike. We’ve been honored to be featured in The Washington Post, and even seen our work spotlighted in Jordan commercials. With our content reaching millions of views online, The Front Porch continues to be a platform for artistic expression and community engagement
Welcome to my journey. Let’s see where it takes us next.
